Ladakh RTE School Admission List 2024-2025

Ladakh RTE School Admission PDF 2024: The Ladakh RTE School Admission List for the academic year 2024-25 in PDF format is now available. According to the provisions of the Right to Education (RTE) Act of 2009, all states and Union Territories are mandated to implement the ‘Right to Free and Compulsory Education’ policy in unaided private schools annually.

This legislation requires that private educational institutions reserve 25% of their total seats for students coming from socially disadvantaged and economically backward backgrounds. Specifically, the RTE Act specifies that 25% of seats at the entry level, including LKG and Class I, must be allocated to children from economically and socially disadvantaged sections of society.

Additionally, state authorities give preference to the admission of students falling under specific categories such as conservancy workers, individuals affected by HIV, persons with disabilities, and orphans under the RTE admission guidelines. The admission process should commence through a public announcement, providing sufficient time for interested candidates to apply online to their nearest private school.

Moreover, the selection process must be carried out transparently, potentially utilizing a Draw of Lots system. Following this, the results of the admission procedure should be prominently displayed on the school notice board and published on the institution’s official website, listing the names of all applicants along with their respective roll numbers.
