The Complete Region-Wise List of LIC Holidays 2024 PDF Download: The Life Insurance Company (LIC), which stands as one of the largest insurance and investment organizations in India, has released its official Holiday List for the year 2024. This comprehensive list encompasses the holidays declared by the Central Government for its employees, which are also observed within LIC Offices throughout the nation, with the exception of some regional holidays.
It is important to note that all LIC offices are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and on the notified holidays. Each year, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) publishes a fresh list of holidays for its employees, ensuring a well-deserved break for the hardworking staff.
In adherence to the latest notification, starting from the 10th of May, 2021, all LIC offices will operate between Monday and Friday from 10 AM to 5:30 PM. Furthermore, as per the Government notification S.O. 1630(E) dated 15th April 2021, every Saturday has been designated as a public holiday for LIC, promoting a healthy work-life balance for its employees.

Additionally, in the year 2024, there are a number of non-transaction days when LIC Mutual Fund services will not be available, allowing employees and customers to celebrate various cultural and religious events. These days are set aside for observance and may impact the processing of transactions during those periods.
In the year 2024, the LIC Mutual Fund Transaction Holidays List is packed with various significant events and festivities. On the 26th of January, which falls on a Friday, Republic Day marks a non-business day for all schemes of LICMF.
Similarly, the 19th of February is dedicated to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, observed on a Monday and declared as a transaction day exclusively for Equity schemes of LICMF.
As March unfolds, the 8th is reserved for Maha Shivaratri, a non-business day across all LICMF schemes. Holi follows on the 25th of March, another non-business day for all schemes. The 29th of March is marked for Good Friday, yet another non-business day for all LICMF schemes.
April begins with the 1st being an Annual Bank Closing day, exclusively a transaction day for Equity schemes. On the 9th of April, Gudi Padwa is celebrated, exclusively a transaction day for Equity schemes. EID UL FITR is observed on the 11th of April, designated as a non-business day for all LICMF schemes.
