UDISE Plus SDMS login Module Overview
The UDISE code serves as a distinctive identifier allocated to educational institutions registered on the UDISE+ platform. This code consists of 11 digits and is linked to accredited schools catering to students from pre-primary to the twelfth grade. The UDISE code undergoes four key stages: initial generation, potential adjustments, status transitions, and eventual permanent closure. It is important to note that once a school is assigned a UDISE code, it remains fixed and can only be modified in the event of a district or state relocation.
UDISE Plus SDMS login Module: Getting UDISE Code
In order to obtain a UDISE code for a school, the designated school representative must liaise with the district Management Information Systems (MIS) officer and provide the necessary documentation. The district MIS representative will then initiate the process of acquiring the code via the UDISE+ system, after which it will be reviewed and sanctioned by the state MIS representative. Following approval at the state level, the application is forwarded to the Ministry of Education for the generation of the UDISE code, a procedure that typically requires approximately one week to finalize.
