IAF Recruitment Rally 03-12 July 2024
Male candidates of Indian or Gorkha descent, who are citizens of Nepal, are warmly encouraged to partake in the recruitment rally scheduled to occur between July 3, 2024, and July 12, 2024. This rally has been organized to offer these individuals the opportunity to enlist in the Indian Air Force as Airmen specializing in the Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant trade. The recruitment procedures will be carried out at the Base Repair Depot, Air Force, situated in Chandigarh. This presents a favorable occasion for qualified candidates to commence a rewarding career in the prestigious Indian Air Force and diligently serve their nation with honor and commitment.
Indian Airforce Group Y Medical Assistant: Selection Process
The Airforce Y Group Medical Assistant Intake 01/2025 Selection Process involves a series of stringent assessments aimed at identifying the most qualified candidates. It commences with a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) to evaluate candidates’ physical capabilities and stamina. Subsequently, candidates are required to pass a Written Test that tests their comprehension of medical concepts.
The Written Test is graded using an objective marking system to ensure impartiality and accuracy in the assessment process. Successful candidates then progress to the Adaptability Test-II, which assesses their capacity to adjust to diverse situations and environments. A comprehensive Medical Examination is carried out to evaluate the candidates’ overall health and fitness levels. Lastly, the Pre-Selection List (PSL) is published to announce the names of candidates who have completed all stages of the selection process successfully and are qualified for further training and inclusion in the Airforce Y Group Medical Assistant program.

The registration period for the Airforce Y Group Medical Assistant Intake 01/2025 will begin at 1100 hours on 22nd May 2024 and end at 2300 hours on 5th June 2024. Subsequently, the recruitment rally is set to occur from 3rd July 2024 to 12th July 2024. Candidates who pass the Adaptability Test-II will undergo a comprehensive medical evaluation in July 2024 at SMC, Air Force Station Ambala.
The Provisional Select List (PSL) will be released on 11th November 2024 at 1 Airmen Selection Centre, Ambala Cantt (Haryana), including a separate list for Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy degree holders. The final Enrolment List for AIRMEN INTAKE 01/2025 will be disclosed on 28th November 2024. Enrolment notification letters will be sent to the chosen candidates through the email addresses provided during registration.
