Lok Sabha Election Holidays in Ladakh 2024: In a bid to promote voter participation and civic involvement, the Ladakh Government has officially announced a paid holiday on 20.5.2024 for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election. This holiday will not only benefit employees of central and state government entities in Ladakh but also individuals working in diverse local institutions such as schools, anganwadis, corporations, and public sector organizations.
Additionally, the Election Commission has instructed all private sector establishments and factories to emulate this initiative by facilitating their employees to exercise their voting rights in the upcoming election.
