Gazetted Holidays List 2025

List of Gazetted Holidays for Central Government Office 2025: Gazetted Holidays are official holidays mandated for central government offices and industrial establishments. Annually in June, the Central Government releases a comprehensive holiday schedule for the following year. This schedule is disseminated through an office memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), outlining Gazetted Holidays and Restricted Holidays separately. The initial list comprises 14 compulsory holidays, while the subsequent list allows individuals to select three holidays from the 14 compulsory ones, resulting in a total of 17 days off. These 17 days constitute the Gazetted Holidays recognized for Central government employees.
