TN TASMAC Holidays List 2024 for Lok Sabha Election

Tamil Nadu TASMAC Holiday Calendar 2024: During the Tamil Nadu TASMAC Election Holidays List of 2024, which coincides with the Parliamentary General Election, scheduled from the 17th to the 19th of April 2024 for voting in the Chennai District, all TASMAC Liquor Retail Stores and licensed bars affiliated with clubs will be mandated to close. Moreover, this closure will extend until the night of the 19th of April, with the subsequent day, the 4th of June 2024, designated as the counting of votes day.

TN TASMAC Shops Closed on 21st April and 1st May 2024

On the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti Day on 21.04.2024 (Sunday), a directive has been issued to close all Tasmac liquor retail outlets and allied outlets in Chennai district. Similarly, on 01.05.2024 (Wednesday) on the occasion of May Day, these establishments will also remain closed. This decision aims to respect and honor the significance of these special days while promoting a sense of restraint and observance within the community.

TN TASMAC Shops Closed on 24 to 26 May 2024

As Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in Kerala State on 26.04.2024, Tasmac Liquor Shops within a 5 km radius of Kerala State Border are 8215 – Thalur, 8235 – Ayyangolli, 8411 – Nambiargunnu, 8447 – Erumadu and Samudra Regency FL3 Bar Hotel Erumadu, Pandalur will not sell liquor from 24.04.2024 10.00 am to 26.04.2024 12.00 midnight and Tasmac retail shops and hotel bar will be compulsorily closed on these days.

In May 2024, during the time leading up to the Parliamentary General Election in Chennai District, the government has mandated the closure of all TASMAC liquor retail stores and licensed bars, including those affiliated with clubs. This directive applies from the night before the election day until the vote-counting day on June 4, 2024.
