OROP 3 Revised Pension Table 2024 Notification
As outlined in the Defence Ministry’s correspondence No.12(1)/2014/D(Pen/Pol)-Part-II from November 7, 2015, there will be a reassessment of pensions for Defence Forces personnel every five years from now on. The first recalibration under the OROP Scheme was executed on July 1, 2019, with the subsequent adjustment scheduled for July 1, 2024. For eligible Defence Forces pensioners and their families, pension amounts will be adjusted based on the average of the minimum and maximum pensions for individuals who retired in 2023, sharing the same rank and duration of service. Furthermore, those whose pensions surpass this average will have their benefits protected.
