Rama Navami, a cherished Hindu festival, honors the auspicious birth of the revered deity Rama. This joyous occasion is observed on the ninth day of the bright fortnight of the Chaitra month. The celebration of Sita Navami, another significant Hindu festival, commemorates the birth of the goddess Sita. This revered event takes place on the ninth day of the bright fortnight of the Vaishakha month.

Swaminarayan Jayanti, a festive day in Hindu tradition, marks the birth of Swaminarayan. Celebrated during the Chaitra month on the ninth day, it coincides with the revered Rama Navami festivities. Nandotsava, a special celebration occurring on Bhadrapada Krishna Navami, follows the joyous Krishna Janmashtami festival. This observance honors the jubilant festivities of Nanda, the foster-father of Lord Krishna, following the deity’s birth.

Maha Navami, known as the Great Ninth Day, is an integral part of the Navaratri celebrations. Sharada Navaratri, observed during the autumn Sharada season, holds immense significance in Hindu traditions. Ayudha Puja or Astra Puja, an essential ritual of the Vijayadashami festival, is a cherished custom in India.

Akshaya Navami is celebrated on Kartika Shukla Navami, which falls nine days after the grand Hindu festival of Diwali. This auspicious day symbolizes the beginning of the Satya Yuga and is referred to as Satya Yugadi. The ritual worship of amala (Indian gooseberry) trees as a form of Vishnu is a customary practice on this day, hence it is also known as Amala Navami.
