KVS Fee Exemption List 2024-25 PDF

The PDF document containing the list of KVS fee exemptions presents a range of benefits tailored to different student categories. For instance, female students enrolled in classes 1 to 12 are relieved from tuition fees but are still required to contribute towards computer funds and VVN contributions. Similarly, SC/ST students, irrespective of gender, are exempted from paying tuition fees but are expected to cover computer fees and VVN Nidhi expenses. Offspring of KVS staff in classes 1 to 12 enjoy waived tuition fees but are obligated to pay for computer fees and VVN Nidhi contributions. Unique provisions cater to single female children in classes 6 to 12, granting them exemption from all fees, including tuition fees, computer funds, and VVN contributions.

Noteworthy exceptions extend to children of Army and paramilitary Personnel who are excused from tuition fees and VVN Nidhi costs, with the sole requirement of covering computer funds. Furthermore, children of Armed Forces and Para Military Forces personnel whose parents have tragically lost their lives, gone missing, or suffered permanent disabilities during counter-insurgency operations in India or abroad are granted full fee waivers. However, these exemptions are contingent upon the presentation of a certificate issued by the relevant Ministry.

Further fee exemptions apply to specific student groups. Offspring of parents with up to two children living below the poverty line and holding BPL cards enjoy relief from tuition fees and VVN Nidhi payments. Additionally, all differently-abled children are exempted from tuition fees and VVN Nidhi contributions as per the guidelines outlined by KVS on October 15, 2009. It is important to note that offspring of government employees, including those within the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, are no longer eligible for the aforementioned fee exemptions due to reimbursement received from their respective departments. Kendriya Vidyalayas operating under the project sector have been empowered to establish their fee structures in accordance with KVS Letter No. 6-1/91-KVS (Budget) dated November 11, 1999. The stipulations enshrined in Articles 123-124 of the Education Code for Kendriya Vidyalayas concerning fee exemptions remain in effect.
