Kerala Online Admission System
The Kerala State government has implemented an innovative initiative with the introduction of an online platform for school admissions known as the ‘Online Admission System’. This system has been designed to enhance efficiency and convenience for both parents and students throughout the admission process. Schools within Kerala are classified into two categories, namely LP (Lower Primary) covering classes 1-5, and UP (Upper Primary) encompassing classes 6-8. Furthermore, there are distinctions between APL (Above Poverty Line) and BPL (Below Poverty Line) ration cards, where APL cards are issued to households situated above the poverty line and BPL cards are provided to families requiring additional assistance.
