Goa RTE School Admission PDF 2025: The implementation of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009 in India is a significant legislative measure that has been adopted nationwide by all States and Union Territories, in accordance with directives from the central government. Although there may be slight variations in terminology, nearly every State government has embraced this program. The fundamental aim of the RTE Act is to promote the principle of universal education.
Under this act, it is mandated that 25% of the total seats in unaided private schools must be set aside for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and marginalized communities. As a result, a quarter of the available spots in Class 1 or equivalent levels in Kindergarten are designated for underprivileged students in private schools that do not receive government assistance.
