Paid Holiday on Poll Day for Lok Sabha Election 2024 in Rajasthan
Lok Sabha Election Holidays in Rajasthan 2024: The Government of Rajasthan has taken a proactive step to boost voter turnout and civic engagement by officially announcing paid holidays on 19.4.2024 and 26.4.2024 for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. This holiday privilege extends to not only central and state government employees in Rajasthan but also individuals employed in various local bodies, schools, anganwadis, corporations, and public undertaking organizations.
In alignment with this decision, the Election Commission has mandated private sector offices and factories to adhere to the same practice and facilitate their employees in exercising their voting rights during the forthcoming election. This initiative aims to ensure that all eligible voters have the opportunity to partake in the democratic process and express their opinions effectively.
