Lok Sabha Election Holidays in Mizoram 2024: The Mizoram Government has announced an official paid holiday on 19.4.2024 for the upcoming Lok Sabha election, with the objective of boosting voter turnout and promoting civic engagement. This holiday will apply to employees of both central and state government offices in Mizoram, as well as individuals employed in various local bodies, schools, anganwadis, corporations, and public undertaking organizations.
