During the Delhi Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission process for the academic year 2024-25, priority in admitting children will be determined by a set order of criteria. Preference will be given to children residing within a 1 KM radius of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, followed by those living within a 3 KM radius of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya with no other Sarvodaya Vidyalaya located within 1 KM from their residence.

Subsequently, children residing within a 3 KM radius of the Sarvodaya Vidyalaya who do not fall into the aforementioned categories will be considered. Parents of children living beyond the 3 KM radius will need to provide an assurance to the respective Head of School regarding the safe transportation of their child. In instances where there is no Sarvodaya Vidyalaya within a 3 KM radius of a child’s residence, the child may seek admission in the nearest Sarvodaya Vidyalaya to their home.

Delhi Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2024-25: Required Document

Parents or guardians are requested to furnish specific documents as part of the admission process for their children following the selection post-lottery draw. To verify the child’s date of birth, one of the following documents is required: an official birth certificate issued by MCD or a local authority, Anganwadi records, documentation from a hospital or Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) register, or parental confirmation of the child’s date of birth as indicated in Part-B of the Application Form. Additionally, a recent passport-sized photograph of the child must be provided.

For proof of residency in Delhi, any one of these documents will suffice: a Ration Card bearing the names of the parents and child, a Domicile certificate for either the child or parents, a Voter ID card for one of the parents, utility bills (Electricity/MTNL telephone/Water) under a parent’s name, a Bank Passbook in the child’s or parent’s name, an Aadhaar card for the child or parent, or a Passport for the child or parent. If applicable, the Caste Certificate should also be submitted.

During the Delhi Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Admission process for the academic year 2024-25, priority in admitting children will be determined by a set order of criteria.
