Dearness Allowance DA Rates Table PDF 2024

Updated DA Rates (Dearness Allowances Rates) Table 2024: DA Table or DA Chart are considered the most crucial reference data for both existing and retired employees of the central and state government. The Dearness Allowance (DA) is a significant component granted to existing government employees, while Dearness Relief (DR) is provided to pensioners and family pensioners. The percentage of DA and DR is nearly the same for both categories and is determined based on their basic pay or basic pension. The DA undergoes revision twice a year, in January and July, to ensure it aligns with economic fluctuations.

However, certain states may not strictly adhere to the standard months of January and July for these revisions. The central government has steadfastly followed a consistent pattern for DA adjustments for its employees over an extended period. Our website, GHDays.in, serves as a comprehensive repository of DA percentages for all government employees, both central and state, offering them easy access to this vital information. Should there be any need for corrections or updates, we welcome users to provide feedback in the comment section, enabling us to promptly address their concerns and ensure the data remains accurate and up-to-date.

50% DA to Armed Forces Officers and PBOR from 1.1.2024

Effective from January 1, 2024, the Dearness Allowance granted to Armed Forces Officers and Personnel Below Officer Rank, including Non-Combatants (Enrolled), is set to receive an augmentation from the current rate of 46% to 50%. In this context, ‘basic pay’ is defined in the revised pay structure as the remuneration received in the specified Level in the Pay Matrix following the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission, as endorsed by the Government, excluding supplementary payments like special pay. It is important to note that the Dearness Allowance stands as a separate component of compensation and is not classified as pay under the regulations governing the remuneration of Defence Force Personnel.
