The eagerly awaited All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI – IW) points for April 2024 are anticipated to be released on the 31st of May 2024, as per the advance calendar of the Labour Bureau. However, there has been a delay in the publication of the AICPIN points for the past two months.

The AICPIN points for February were scheduled to be released on the 28th of March 2024, followed by the March AICPIN points on the 30th of April 2024, but unfortunately, both releases did not take place as planned. As a result, the pending press releases for February and March are still awaited. With the arrival of the third month, April 2024, hopes are high that all three press releases will be issued on that day.

All India Survey on Domestic Workers

The All India Survey on Domestic Workers is an ambitious undertaking that aims to comprehensively assess the number and proportion of domestic workers not only at the national level but also at the state level.
