Notice for the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination 2024: Prohibited Items—The use of mobile phones (even if turned off), pagers, or any electronic gadgets, including programmable devices and storage equipment like pen drives or smartwatches, is absolutely forbidden. This also includes cameras, Bluetooth devices, and any other tools that can facilitate communication during the exam.
Breaking these rules will lead to disciplinary measures, which may include disqualification from future exams. UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination 2024 Eligibility
To be eligible for the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination 2024, applicants need to satisfy specific criteria as detailed below:
Nationality: Only individuals who are Indian citizens are eligible for appointment or employment under these regulations, unless there is written authorization from the Central Government. Citizens from Nepal or Bhutan may also qualify for roles under these guidelines.
Gender: The position of Assistant Commandants is open to both male and female candidates.
Age Criteria:
Candidates should be a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 25 years old by August 1, 2024. This indicates that applicants must have been born between August 2, 1999, and August 1, 2004.
The upper age limit can be adjusted as follows:
- A relaxation of up to five years for those belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes.
- A relaxation of up to three years for candidates from Other Backward Classes who are eligible for reservations.
- A relaxation of up to five years for Civilian Central Government Servants in accordance with current government policies. Ex-Servicemen may also take advantage of this relaxation. However, the total age relaxation due to government service cannot exceed five years.
